Tropic Star of Pine Island, Inc. as the official concessionare for the Cayo Costa State Park manages Jug Creek Cottages as their Guest Services Provider.

Jug Creek Cottages are located on 7.5 acres of State Park land in the Historic District of Bokeelia on the north end of Pine Island. Pine Island is a 17 mile long island encircled by three aquatic preserves and bordered with mangroves.  Pine Island has no beaches and visitors and residents alike consider the magnificent 7 mile beach at Cayo Costa Island as “their beach”. Cayo Costa Island can be reached by private boat, kayak or the TROPIC STAR ferry. Cabin renters receive a discount on their ferry rides to Cayo Costa.

Jug Creek Cottages are rustic efficiency cabins with private bedrooms sleeping four to six persons per cabin. There are four rental cabins available year round on a weekly or daily basis (2 night minimum stay on weekends and holidays).  Cabins are furnished and have air conditioning and fans. There are two beds in the bedrooms and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. Kitchenettes include full size refrigerators, electric stoves, sink, coffee maker and toaster. Basic kitchen utensils are supplied and linens and towels. Some cabins have TV. There are no telephones in the cabins.

Renters can use the boat ramp and canal for their own boats and limited dock space may be available.  There is quick access to Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound making the cottages especially attractive to avid fishermen and to paddlers.  Jug Creek Cottages are located on the Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail.   In walking distance from the cabins are two restaurants, a fishing pier, an upscale art gallery and a full service marina.

Year Round Rates Daily $90.00

Weekly (7 Nights) $572.40 Week

All rates above are based on single or double occupancy of one bedroom cabin and include current applicable taxes.  Additional persons @ $5.00 per night per person.  Call for rates on our two bedroom cabin.

A deposit of one night’s stay is required to confirm cabin reservations.  Refunds will be given on cancellations made 14 days before arrival date.  Check in time per day or per week is 3:00PM, check out is 10:00AM. Early arrivals and late check-outs available.

BOKEELIA BOAT RAMP AND COTTAGES

Tropic Star of Pine Island, Inc. manages the above property offering a Lee County Public Boat Ramp, marina store, six efficiency rental cottages and a 3-bedroom vacation rental house on the water.

Bokeelia Boat Ramp & Cottages are located on a canal on the Northern end of Pine Island with direct access to Shell Cut and Charlotte Harbor, Jug Creek and Pine Island Sound and they are on the Great Calusa Blueway Padding Trail.

Bokeelia Cottages (Formerly known as Harbor Hideaway Marina) are efficiency cottages available for overnight and longer rentals to boating enthusiasts. Each one bedroom cottage has two beds in the bedroom and a double couch-bed in the living room for sleeping accommodations. Full kitchens, bath with shower and a screened porch provide vacation comfort. Linens, towels, pots and pans, dishes coffee maker, etc. are included. Use of the on-property ramp and parking is free for cabin renters. Several marinas and restaurants are just minutes away.

Renters can use the boat ramp and canal for their own boats and limited dock space may be available.

Year Round Rates Daily $90 plus 6% sales tax and 5% bed tax $5.00 per person additional fee for over double occupancy Weekly & monthly packages available.
Weekly (7 nights) $540 plus tax

Thee bedroom home on the water with private dock for your boat. All new furnishings and appliances. Excellent views from larged covered lanai. Available weekly or monthly. Up to 6+ people.
